Answer
What do I do after I make my first payment?

Expect a welcome letter email from us shortly that contains your FTP address, user name & password so that you can get into your Plesk control panel. Once you receive that email you may begin to copy your website to your new server.

If you are using our automated "Website Tonight" template builder, you have immediate access to your website and will only receive a welcome letter with instructions - there is no waiting on us to build your new account - its done automatically.

What is your DNS or NAMESERVER data?

If you have purchased your domain name here with us, your name servers or DNS has already been properly configured and set for you. If you have purchased your domain name elsewhere, then you will need to change your DNS at the registrar and our nameserver info is as follows:

NS1.AWESOMEWEBHOST.COM
NS2.AWESOMEWEBHOST.COM

How long does it take to get my account setup?

If you are using our automated "Websites Tonight" template system, then your account is created instantly and you are only limited by how long it takes to you build your own website.

If you have chosen to purchase a regular or basic hostimg account, then a human will need to configure and build your account and this is done just as soon as we receive and confirm payment. You should receive instructions on how to setup your new account within 24 hours from the time you make your first payment.

When you make that payment we are sent an order confirmation from PayPal. When we receive that confirmation, we build your new account and then email you instructions on how to use your new account. Accounts are usually setup in about 3 to 5 hours or less on average. But please allow up to 24 hours.

I'm confused about the login in process or where to login to my account

There are actually 3 different login areas so it can be somewhat confusing for the new customer. This is done for safety reasons so that all of your personal information is never all stored up in one location.

1. AWH User Account
2. Domain Name Account
3. PLESK Hosting Control Account

If your account should ever get compromised, you'll be glad the hacker cannot gain access to every aspect of your entire account. You are encouraged to use different passwords for each account.

1. First, is your account here on this CMS (Contact Management System) website, we call your AWH User Account. This is where you are right now reading these Frequently Asked Questions. This is your main "USER ACCOUNT" and this is also the website or account you need to use in order to reach us here at AwesomeWebHost.com. To login to your AWH User Account, use the "My Account" link to the left of these words.

2. The second account depends on whether you are a Domain Name Account customer, or a Website Tonight customer or both. If you have purchased a domain name here with us, or if you have setup a "Website Tonight" account (or both), then that is your "DOMAIN ACCOUNT" and we call it your, "Domain Name Account". In order to access that account, you need to click on the "Domain Names & More" link to the left of these words. Once you get to the other page, you need to then click on the "My Account" link in the upper middle of THAT page.

3. Third, is your PLESK account or Hosting Control Panel. This is only for customers who either have a Reseller Account or Plesk Control Access to their hosting account. (This is the account that you had to wait for a human to configure for you). To access your PLESK, or Control Panel - simply click on the "PLESK Administration" link to the left of these words. If you cannot find that link, it is because you are not logged in to your primary AWH User Account here on this page that you are reading right now.

AWH customers must first be logged into this CMS account before they are granted access to the PLESK Control Panel System for added security.
